I would like some help creating some trivia quizzes for children in 1st – 8th grades.?
I learned today that young people are missing very basic information that every one should know. (Ex. how many continents are there? Who killed Abraham Lincoln.) I decided to make some memorization quizzes for them to do every day. Please help by supplying me with some basic questions you feel 1st – 8th graders should know the answers to. If you have insight on what particular age group it would be good for, that would be helpful.
Also, feel free to supply the answers…I’m smart, but I am sure that my trivia skills could probably stand to be worked on. : )
Thanks guys!

This may sound ridiculous…but I think you should have some questions about the planets and solar system. I feel that in elementary school (at least in my state) has pushed alot of space standards out because (they say) its hard for youngsters to understand. Technically we can’t go on a field trip…thats the theory. (Btw- I teach it anyways!) Maybe just like how many planets have been found, which is closest to the sun, what is the planet with rings, what planet is known for a red spot? etc…
Good luck on your quizzes!

What do Elvis Presley and former President Jimmy Carter have in common? Genealogists say the answer is a 17th-century German ancestor who might make them sixth cousins once removed.
