Shouldn’t Obama and his supporters read this from Abraham Lincoln?
You cannot bring prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.

You cannot further the brotherhood of man by encouraging class hatred.
You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot establish sound security on borrowed money.
You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away man’s initiative and independence.
You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.

Maybe Barack should listen to the man from his own state.
This isn’t for the liberals who think that Obama can do no wrong and will try to say he does these things this is for the undecided voter, or those who are willing to listen to reason without being clouded by partisanship. This has been hanging in our office for years, but I finally really looked at it the other day.

I listen to him a lot and NEVER hear him blame anything on Clinton. Where are you getting your facts. He tries his hardest to show respect to Clinton and the Dems – which they do not show much to him. I hear Clinton slam Bush a lot. Bush has taken reponsibility for going into Iraq and the mistaken idea of them having a ton of WMDs (even though Sadam had used them to kill tens of thousands and every intel agency in the world said he had them). When Clinton was asked about his missing getting OBL by a reporter he threw a fit.

Sept 11th. was the greatest failure of our Government to protect Americans in this nations history. Bush was told before we were attacked. He was even told they would use comm. planes. He was also told they were already in this country. Bush did nothing. In America, we fire failures.. We could use the 130,000 troops in Iraq to guard our own borders.. Only fools like Bush and Cheney would think a terrorist would face our Marines in Iraq in a fair fight, they will not. Terrorist are cowards, they do the dirty work behind our backs, just like in Iraq and Viet Nam..

They don’t care. Give more power to the government so we the people don’t have to do anything, literally. There is a huge difference between the poor in America and the poor of rest of the world. How many poor Iraqi’s are obese? That’s not to state all poor American’s are obese. The proof, however, is around us. Give me more so I can do less. Socialism is a disease and unfortunately it is spreading through sheer laziness and ignorance. Why do anything if the government is willing to do it for us, right?? How are we free if we allow socialism. Freedom eventually will be state of mind rather a reality.

What wonderful advise! But you are right about the liberals. I mean just look at some of their responses. It kind of reminds me of a someone who has been in an abusive relationship. (people & government). They are so desperate to hear that things will be better that they block all warnings and advise and believe all the fake promises. Let’s all face facts here. How many times have politicians running for election made promises that there was no way they could keep? And Obama has already shown that he will do anything to win including denouncing his preacher of 20 years whom he claimed was like a father to him. And also not being entirely honest regarding his relationship with Ayers. I think if I would have seen more honesty and accountability from him he may have gotten my vote. Instead I see signs of the same old politics from him which he is just trying to cover up with his charm.

I dont recall abraham lincoln saying you can grow prosperity by giving 700 billion to the rich and making the middle class pay the bill.
I dont recall any of Lincoln’s speeches that said you can grow the economy by protecting those with the most, and injuring those with the least.
Perhaps you can provide me a link where Lincoln endorsed McCain’s economic plan with such statements.
