What is a good parody novel for English class?

What is a good parody novel for English class? I have to find a book that parodies a classic novel or biography (like “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” or “Abraham Lincoln Vampire Slayer”). From this book, I have to make a brochure supporting the reasons why both the original classic novel and parody book should stay on the shelves of my school’s library and not be removed. It may sound confusing, but I would just like a parody novel that is entertaining and easy to read. Thank you! Answer by PinstripeNightlight (Parody of Twilight) Of course, I believe only Nightlight should stay on the shelf, but, hey. Pride and Prejudice is a classic too, though, and if Pride and Prejudice and Zombies gets people to read it, I’m happy. Answer by TuRtLeZHey! The…

abraham lincoln wiki

How did Republicans strayed so much from Lincoln? In recent years, historians have stressed Lincoln’s use of and redefinition of republican values. As early as the 1850s, a time when most political rhetoric focused on the sanctity of the Constitution, Lincoln shifted emphasis to the Declaration of Independence as the foundation of American political values. The Declaration’s emphasis on freedom and EQUALITY for all, rather than the Constitution’s tolerance of slavers, shifted the debate. In his Gettysburg Address Lincoln redefined the American nation, arguing that it was born not in 1789 but in 1776, “conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.” He declared that the sacrifices of battle had rededicated the nation to the propositions of democracy and EQUALITY, “that this nation shall have a new…

abraham lincoln reconstruction

I need a good description about Abraham Lincoln and Reconstruction? Describe how Reconstruction might have been different if Abraham Lincoln had lived. Tell me as much as you can. Answer by Think and GrowLincoln, after having won the War of Northern Aggression would have supervised the rape and pillage of the South. The “Reconstruction” would have happened in much the same way, the political pressures from the North drove events. Answer by oldboryLincoln, strange war criminal that he was, apparently harbored no ill feeling toward the South if only they would agree to re-join the Union. The Radical Republicans, for whom Lincoln was a hood ornament, wanted the South turned into an agricultural colony of the north. There are theories that the Radical Republicans had Lincoln assassinated because he did not hate the…
